Floating IP is a public ip address(ipv4) allocated by the Inficloud network. It is the gateway to the internet for Instance running. By using the floating ip it is possible to control internet traffic and access to the resources in your company with minimum cost. It effectively provide high availability for applications running in the instance with very low failover.
The Floating IP can also allocated to the load balancer for handling the tcp traffic and can handle and distribute load among active Instances running with same service. It can also allocated to the DB as Instance with same features as above.
The Inficloud network is not offering ipv6 right now.
It can used according to the region chosen by the client but not transferable to other region.
If you are migrated from the AWS or Google the ip used before cannot able to allocate in Inficloud network, you need configure the ip offered for you.
